Rasha Ghaddar

Rasha Alkhatib Ghaddar is a Co-founder of Gatan Marayu Foundation.

She was a senior project manager with financial expertise and +15 years of experience in Kano, Nigeria. 

Rasha holds a degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut and therefore, she headed the financial expenditure of the foundation and developed internal budgets to match realistic projections.

She acted as a liaison between G.M.F. and other organisations to set priorities, goals and objectives for projects. Rasha coordinated submissions and requests for information between all sponsors, students and schools.

Rasha left the foundation in 2023.

Though our paths are no longer fully aligned with the structure of the Foundation, the journey itself continues. 

​

Rasha remains on the same path of Giving Back to the less privileged communities in Kano in a quieter, more personal way. 

She continues to raise awareness and support for GMF and never ceases to help whenever the need arises.
